The investigator said "His account of the event is very likely a sighting of a sasquatch!"

And this was based upon a 'vague' description of a dark humanlike creature, who walked rather fast.

No doubt the reporter saw, what he thought to be something mysterious. But for the investigator to input an unqualified opinion such as that, shows the poor quality of investigative skills which so often set the stage for evidence of sasquatch's existence!.
