That's a good one.
The part i never get is after working so hard and long to find them (plus expenses) Why leave? Call in sick, send for resupplies etc Because you may never get another chance??
thanks hotdog, BFFO has a lot of them.

If money was not a factor then it wouldn't be a problem staying longer. Unfortunately pretty much all of those guys have families and bills to pay so calling in sick or sending for resupplies isn't an option. What does happen that no one hears about is the BFRO members that live in the area, and expedition attendees that wish to do so, go back to the locations several times throughout the year. I think it was just the right thing to do when they left without pushing to get closer to it. When they go back out there the chances of that same animal allowing itself to be seen again are at least a little better.

They were probably there watching it longer than the report reads. After a while you got to make the decision to head back. Sasq have all the time in the world to hang around and watch, we don't.

As I have said many time in the past ... anyone who claims to have gotten very close, in this case within 60 feet of a Sasquatch and didn't to anything to see it in detail ... they might as well keep the encounter to themselves.
As Steenburg often says ... don't go anywhere without a camera. In this case ... carry a flashlight that can illuminate an object only 60 feet away. (sigh)
