It's been awhile since I hike and searched in BC. I had/have family that use to live on the isl and elsewhere. I've done some researching in areas near Vanderhoof, Kamloops, Osoyoos, Whistler etc. I wanted to get deeper into that region between Pitt and Stave lake. But I made the mistake of bringing along a pretty but scared french female companion. Eventually I ended up taking a job up in Jasper Alb at the lodge to be close to the action in that park. But I continued to border jump alot to search areas that had promise. So what's new? any recent Bf activity in BC? cheers: tracker

...A Sasquatch was sighted July 22nd drinking from a case of Kokanee beer with his buddies up at Sasquatch Provincial Lake Campground this past weekend. Word has it that said Sasquatch and his buddies were suffering with hangovers come the 23rd. AP.

Kokanee It's the beer out there, it never caught on in Ont? Campgrounds are good places in the off season like late fall for Bf action. That's if you don't mind being almost alone when they come to visit late at night? I hear they like jerky too !

New to me sighting I was at a friends place on Friday and somehow Sasquatch came up in the conversation. My friend told us (6 of us) about a sighting he had in Dewdney about 15 years ago. First time I ever heard hi mention it. He said it crossed the logging road in front of him and he found footprints. This guy is a hardcore hunter (including bears), he is positive it was not a bear and that the tracks were fresh

That's a very typical sighting Bill. The best thing is were finally coming around to talking about these sightings and encounters. Now if only they would be reported asap it would be a great help.

He probably talked about it right away he is not the type to care what other people think. It just never came up in conversation. I know is dad claimed for years that he saw a Sasquatch back in the 1960's but I can't remember where he said he saw it

The 60's & early 70's was a boom for Bf's sightings just like now. Tom or some others will mostly agree that activity and interest has and is still building. Hopefully we can get the job done this time?
What am i referring to? Around 80-100 reports all from one region Blue and Bluff Creek CA in less than 10 years. And all we got was Patterson's shaky vid and some print castings? IMO that was our golden chance to prove they exist and we blew it. JMO
