hi edson! there are old reports of BF having been seen in the area. but then, there are reports of BF being seen pretty much everywhere. i hunt and fish and hike this area alot. pretty much the area from kelowna, penticton, princeton, merritt, kamloops, vernon. everywhere between and around. between kelowna and merritt, up off the coquihalla, i have an area that i've found possible signs. it's the only place that i've found that i've thought that there may be something. given that though, i cover this area extensively through all the weather changes, and have never seen anything remotely looking like a track. nothing of that size is frequenting an area and not leaving a track in the ground when it is soft. there has been sightings between merritt and kamloops. i've frequented that area tons, and have found zero. i can't say that they aren't around, but i'd definitely say the odds are slim. there is just no way that i haven't found something of use given the time that i spend out there and the area that i cover. serious. i spend every free moment out in the bush. sure, i could be just missing them, but again, nothing of that size is leaving no sign. still, i hope though, and continue to wander around. i've enlargened my area now and am spending more time up around shuswap, revelstoke, and mica. it's that much more remote and just wilder in general. don't want to deter you from looking though. there's always that chance encounter. good luck.

Hey there, ive heard of a few stories up the ashnola/ewart creek rd towards keremeos and have been up there a couple times myself. Its very rugged and definately could hold some activity. Also some of the side roads of the hwy between princeton and manning park are good areas too.
Good luck!
