Wish you the best of luck in your group's hunt for Sasquatch up in Caren Range mountains. Some big timber and pretty country up in that neck of the woods. Take care and be safe.

secheltbigfoot...again, best of luck in your group's hunt for Sasquatch. Please keep us all posted on your findings. If you are interested, there is a good satellite image map of the entire Sunshine Coast area at the following link: www.lestwarog.com/maps/insidepassage/index.htmlOnce there click on the "Sechelt" java section of the map mid-right. Take care. Bushman

You are welcome, secheltbigfoot. No, I'm not from your area. I live in the Fraser River Valley near GrandCherokee. I have, however, spent a good deal of time in your neck of the woods in the past while working for a company that seeded oysters on large private land leases in Sechelt Inlet region.

Secheltbigfoot:
Working during the commercial fishing off-season, I had the opportunity as a deckhand on a large ocean-going tugboat called the "Progressive" (which generally towed a 200-foot scow loaded with hundreds of tons of empty oyster seeding shells, carry cages and cranes) to travel to many smaller bays inside Secelt Inlet.
Although my work generally consisted of deck work onboard the Progressive and setting and retrieveing large strings of empty oyster shells to collect spawn or seed on shore, I rarely had the chance to meet any of the local operators.
Our company was more or less contracted to collect and transport hundreds of tons of seeded oyster shells to various destinations on the West Coast for shipment to purchasers.
It was as great job when I was not commercial fishing as I got to see some beautiful country, every day was another adventure, we ate like kings, and the money wasn't too bad either. ;D
