foreststealth, I was interviewed for the article that you have refered to in the Edmonton Journal. At no time was your report mentioned nor was there any discussion of possible footprints being discovered in Edmonton.
I can only offer the possibility that the reporter may have done a web search using the keywords "edmonton bigfoot" to resource more information for her story.
Try it and you will find a link to a site where your story is discussed.
My apologies that you feel you were ignored but try to understand that most researchers conduct there research on there own limited personal time and at our own expense. We can not personally follow up every lead or story but we do appreciate when people such as yourself come forward with information that may possibly be related to the sasquatch "mystery"

Hi Roman,
Thanks for the honest response, I appreciate you taking the time to clarify my concerns. I was naive when I first came to this board after what happened but it has been a learning experience about what really goes on behind the scenes in groups that research strange phenomenon be it paranormal, fortean, hoax or mis-identification. Frustrations and egos are bound to get hurt! Guess it's true what they say "time heals all wounds"! I know I may have gotten off on the wrong foot here and can only hope my reactions were understandable.
Thanks. Maxim.

Hi tuffy! Thanks for the words of encouragement. Things have been getting better. Slowly getting there, figure it's like fishing, more time spent in the field the better the chances of seeing one. But than I'm reminded of Rene Dahinden! LOL
