I have recently moved to this beautiful part of the world, mainly for a simpler lifestyle, but also to begin research concerning what has been a hot spot for sasquatch sightings for a number of years. Other than the well documented stories of Clayton Mack, the local people here have been witnessing something large in the woods for years. On initial inquiries I have been informed of certain areas which have a concentration of sightings and sign. Obviousily I am beginning within these places first but ask whether anyone on this forum has any experiences in the valley or know of any other independent researchers in the area who may be interested in pooling resources and undertaking an organised search. I am a part time wildlife photographer and grizzly bear tour guide. I shall update here as and when I have anything to report.

I spent sometime in the Bella Coola Valley. There were stories of vocalizations at night down at the warf. Also a story of a bipedal walking along a snowcovered mountain peak. That one could see from town. People thought that it was odd that someone would be walking up there for no apperant reason. As before metioned the great bear hunter Clayton Mack has numerous stories about Bogs as the locals call them. Both in the Bella Coola river valley and the Dean river vally. When i was last there in 2004 there hadn't been much for sightings or vocaliztions. Lots of cougar and grizz but not much for Bogs. I was told that the Dean river Valley is the place to look. I look forward to any reports from Jimmy
