Question: In Ketchum's last radio show interview on Coast to Coast, she stated that a man gave her hair samples for DNA testing which she later found out that the samples belonged to yet another man who seeemed likeable - was alleged to be a known hoaxer - was disabled - who pleaded to be a part of her study - and who this individual and another man tried to get her to contract with them that led to a dispute over a contract that she never agreed to. Ketchum had also remarked that the original guy who misreresented the samples as his own was now deceased. Does anyone know who these players might be that Ketchum had referenced??? No idea However the last heard Ketchum was claiming that the sample Justin gave her had tested as being her relic hominid/human hybrid Justin's supporters are claiming they were two different pieces of meat found at the alleged kill site. I just think it is a load of donkey droppings

2 different pieces of meat? Like a supermarket or something? Oh yeah, I don't like ham, so roasted beef please! And the known hoaxer? Who else could he be? He even posted an "acceptance statement" of Melba's lab on Facebook.

If we ignore the hoaxers and not point out their acts, then their claims face no opposition and eventually they become internet "facts" Even now their are people on bff supporting his claim That is a good point. My concern is that with the added attention we are just spurring the numbskulls into doing this each and every year. There is ALWAYS be another mental midget that yearns for his/her moment of fame and will do it for some perverse need. Then again Finding Bigfoot is quite staged - pity that some good investigators are associated with it ... and some not-so-good - sadly it is there to make money, not for "the truth" ... Richard

You know this site and forum amazes me at time for the amount of good judgement and sound thinking which seems devoid on so many other sites and forums! After 10 years there has been so little change, but it is good to see how common sense can still hold out against the 'crazies'!

very true, gerry. it's refreshing, and actually amazing, compared to the usual bf believers. in general, most on here are open to the existence of bf, but remain intelligent enough to not believe that every noise in the woods is a bf encounter, or that every blurry figure in the latest video is anything but just that.
heck, if i had the imagination that most reports have, then i've had numerous encounters.

Yeah but we seem to be out-numbered at least 100:1 in the SAS\BF community on the whole. "I saw a UFO land, BF got out, zapped my with some low frequency, I gave it a sandwich while it telepathically told me the end is near, then it phase shifted \ teleported back to Oregon to help with some book writing for a few of it's BFFs."

Yes, a very interesting article. I could see a hybrid brown/polar bear surviving the 40,000 years since it was supposedly extinct in a place as rempote as the "top of the world", but to equate that surviving animal to Yeti reports seems a stretch, as most descriptions of Yeti that I've read report the creature as nearly identical to Sasquatch/Bigfoot sightings in other parts of the world, with no bear-like features, other than lots of hair.

I don't think it is that much of a stretch The 40 year old sample was preserved because the man that killed it was sure it wasn't a bear That guy was a hunter and had seen many bears

I live a few hours away from Tofino where that sighting/ video was shot of the bear (reported to be a Sasq)
In the clip the animal was standing up then went to all fours and took off.
Which is how bears behave , bears routinely stand up to enhance their view and to sniff in the air. Remember Bears have terrible eyesight otherwise it would of f**ked off sooner.
I Hate bears , some years ago when I lived in Tashis on Vancouver island I was charged by a large and fat black bear when me and the girlfriend were a few miles up the Tashis river. Scary things imo and a real Danger.
back on track
I'm surprised that clip made it into the the top 28 it's good to remember its just his opinion.

Island - I'm treking to VI this Spring, searching for the most out of the way from people locations I can find. Maybe you know some places way off the beaten path that TimberWest doesn't gate up etc? Let me know if anything comes to mind, just spin VI around on Google Earth doesn't help pick suitable research locations.
