3 toe prints!? I don't know about that one. The only possible explanation (other than hoaxing) is that the narrow gene pool produces a high degree of syndactylism.

A stride of 3 1/2 feet is not very big, for a sasquatch that has 17 inch prints. Did the tracks continue down the hill too? There are a lot of unanswered questions here.

ok, sure there are questions that need answers. ;)Snowshoe hare would have to be a weighty bugger to sink 8 inches with each hop (are they not evolved to stay on 'top of the snow') ... mind you if it was carrying easter eggs...
Could we speculate (there's that word again) that sometimes every being moves slowly, slower than at a 'normal' (whatever that may be) pace, thereby reducing stride ...

lol unfortunately I only saw the one picture, and it did not look properly compacted in the middle of the print. It was all messy, actually, like something was moving around there. So actually it put me in mind of a hawk or owl pouncing on a prey, and stabilizing itself with it's wings (forward), or maybe some other largish animal bouncing through the snow, maybe dragging it's kill? More speculation, alas, but something a bit more likely than a sasquatch. Think of the weight of a sasquatch with a 17 plus inch print. We're talking of upwards of 300 pounds coming down on that one foot. There would be a good deep impaction.

Some better photos below of stride tracks from Bobbie Shorts website. Sure looks like "snowshoe hare" tracks to me also. tinyurl.com/bd7tmw

Recently around Moricetown www.youtube.com/watch?v=25lzRlwz_u4The sound is similar to large game ie: elk, moose but the man's voice appears to be shaking, trembling, which seems odd that a local FN (assumed) would not be familiar with different brays.
