Hi fellas just curious to see if anyone here uses atvs or dirtbikes to go out and travel, in search of the big foot. I wouldnt mind exploring the bush on my atv stopping to visit different locations locating and collecting data, if anyone has a bike and is interested in heading out let me know thanx.

I have never really been into using ATVs or dirtbikes. But I'm quite sure that some researchers use them.

I do not use ATV's either. My personal feeling is the noise may send any of the forest inhabitants into hiding. I am also a bit of a naturalist in the sence that I hate to see mans markings scattered throughout our forests. ATV's do allow access to more distant areas but with that comes other issues (now I'm starting to rant) please don't take any of this as a personal attack traildogg. It seems that no matter how far into the forests I may venture, I always come out with a backpack full of loser droppings (beer cans, junk food wrappers etc.) Most of which was dropped off by ATV users.
Maybe it's just me but I love the peace and quiet of our forests. I would love to have use of trail and pack horses for an extended tour of duty though.
