Richard, I'm aware of his past history with sasquatch. I posted the article because I thought his approach was a new angle of trying to proof sasquatch exist's. Its worth a discussion.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Very true, it is worth a discussion for sure. Although I do agree that some sort of educational/academic aspect for BF research is required, it must come from those in academia. There is a reason why the likes of Meldrum and Bindernagel although competent in their fields are ostracized by their peers ... it is a TOUGH nut to crack. Sadly, in my opinion, all that people like Townsend manage to achieve isn't to enlighten the public, but cast a negative shadow on those academics willing/able to risk ridicule to discuss the taboo subject that is Bigfoot. So although I would say (on a personal note) nice try Townsend, from a purely research point, he is hurting and muddying the research waters. Why is he hurting them? www.andywhiteanthropology.com/blog/mitchel-townsend-is-dr-johnny-dagger-bigfoot-trackerthebigfootnews.blogspot.ca/2015/06/new-jonny-dagger-scientific-paper-seeks.htmldoubtfulnews.com/2017/04/continuing-miseducation-on-bigfoot/He uses an alter ego called "Dr. Johnny Dagger" and claims to have several degrees, but these (as well as the name) are purely fictitious and serve to do nothing but undermine his own story. There you have it - once someone behaves in this manner, then they are painted for life, and in my opinion cannot be trusted with anything again. Richard

Hi Richard, thank you for the links. I will read the links you gave me, form an opinion and get back to you. I wouldn't form an opinion based on anything I send - just consider it possible sources of information about the guy ... but I recommend take everything in this field (including my comments) with a large grain of salt. There are far too many wanna-be researchers that fill the hallowed halls of Bigfootopia that make it difficult to see the forest from the trees - or in this case the Bigfoot from the forest R

I lost my desire to find proof they existed but did publish a book sharing what I experienced going from skeptic to believer. Sharing with interested folks is much more fun LOL! Here's the link to it for your review. www.amazon.com/dp/1719996768?ref_=pe_870760_150889320

Can you provide any incentive for us to purchase the book? There appear to be photographs - great - photographs of what exactly? As you can tell, this isn't out first rodeo and skepticism (in healthy doses) runs rampant around here. Richard
