Recently there was a sighting reported at missioncityrecord.com in the lifestyles section, I just learned about it today and was wondering if Thomas or someone has checked it out. Here is the article but I don't know how to post a pic here.

If the sasquatch in Dewdney had wanted to spook people days before Halloween, he would’ve been disappointed.
Instead of a scare, those on board the Fraser River Safari tour who spotted the hairy creature Sunday afternoon had a good laugh.
Jo-Anne Chadwick, who owns Fraser River Safari with her husband Chad, said the sasquatch was running up and down an area by the Dewdney Slough.
He was throwing rocks, as though angry about something, and then disappeared behind some bushes, said Chadwick.
Nineteen people on board the tour, which was on its way to the 100-year-old haunted house in Kilby, witnessed the sasquatch’s behaviour.
“There were fishermen standing on either side, but none of them seem to have noticed the sasquatch,” said Chadwick.
It was the first sasquatch sighting for Chadwick, who admitted she was just a bit scared, especially when the creature violently threw rocks in her direction.
“It was amazing,” said Chadwick, who says she’s not a sasquatch hunter, but will be looking out every time she travels through Dewdney now. "

if anything sounds like a set-up, that does--a regular tour with lots of people who have paid to have thrills on board--sounds like someone obliged them in a gorilla suit.

Your hunches were right it was all a Halloween prank to entertain th kids on the tour boat. Bushman spotted the article and phoned me. i than rushed out across the street to buy the paper, I found out the company name and gave them a Call. JoAnn Chadwick assured me that no harm was intended and that it was all done foe the kids whom were going up river to Kilby to visit the Haunted house set up for Halloween. The next day I paid the Chadwick's a visit at there office on the Mission waterfront. Both Jo-Ann and Chad assured that no harm was intended, some of the kids had an interest in the Sasquatch and some of the adults thought it might be fun if the kids got to see one. They would not tell me the name of the person who has the costume but they assured me that i would be notified in advance of any future pranking involving this suit.

That's mighty kind of them. Oh well, keep searching, I guess!
