I came across this little curiosity on Cryptomundo today---which has made my eyebrow cock in questioning:
cryptomundo.com/bigfoot-report/hairy-creature-captured/
Here's the what Igor Burtsev (oh s***) had to say:
"Igor Burtsev of the International Center of Hominology, brought this video to our attention and had this to say:
It presented on Utube as a captured small hairy creature on the Caucases but not exactly where. Somebody wrote that in Karachaevo-Cherkes republic? but as I could understand they were talking in Azerbaijan language (now it’s a separate state by the Kaspian sea)/ And I noticed there on a piece of paper Arabic and Latin letters show the date – November 30, 2016, or еhe year 1395 Hijri (?)and the name Haji Taha – in Russia they don’t use such writings, it’s another confirmation of Azerbaijan location of the case (my personal investigation, as I know Azerbaijan language and Arabic writings too).
The Arabic writings show some figures – 75,11,95, 25 – and a couple of letters"-Igor Burtsev, 2017
First off:
1. The fact Burtsev is involved already raises some flags for me. He was the man who attended that awful Keremovo expedition (as detailed in the BCSCC's Quarterly). Also, the fact he has championed a few yeti and almas sightings that are dubious at best and the mere act of physically being ona suspected Yeti nest during the Keremovo has already made his credibility plummet as is.
2. The so called "captured small hairy creature" seems to have fur a little too clean for a creature that's supposedly been captured. I noticed in several of the close-ups that the hairy is too shiny. Why don't I see any dirt on it's hair?
2b. Also, the hair doesn't seem to be growing out of the little creature. I don't see any transition on the face where we see small hair becoming thicker and longer as it grows up----don't see that here. It looks as if someone just put a fur-covered suit around it. This is just my first impressions, but this already looks like another video to be put into the Youtube cryptid video slush pile.
3. Depending on how long they've kept the so-caled creature, why aren't the people acting a little more tense, nervous, unsure, puzzled, etc, at the creature? They look too calm when around the creature; it's like the monkey was a pet they decided to pull a prank video on the world. But, the part that really set my red flags off was when the camera-guy was soothing the creature. I don't think people, if they have a strange creature around the house, would be acting that way.
4. And if Igor is insinuating this an almasty or yeti in any way, the gait certainly doesn't look anything along those lines.
Anyway, what are your thoughts. Best, BCLeviathan!
