Thx for the post. As for the structures he presents, I'm not convinced that they are used by anything other than human. Any person without any real skill could have camped or hunted there and made those. He doesn't claim to have seriously investigated them or looked for any particular materials or demarcation. The structures may have previously been augmented with some tarp etc and what you have is the most primitive framework, making it look more "primitive".
The examination of the figure and tree movement is compelling but there is no scale. He knows exactly where he was standing and presumably can find again that branch break. If he can revisit that exact spot then with a cheap laser pointer \ range finder has can very closely determine where the top of the figure head crest was.
If he can forecast the laser \ range finder along the same viewing path to the tree in question, then he can measure there from the ground to that beam and know very closely what the crest height is.
If this is a remarkable height, it might support his bigfoot claim. If it is much shorter, then it could just be a gorilla. Every countryside has escaped animals from zoos and circus etc. Knowing the true distance, ground inclination and height to crest would be beneficial.
IMHO he needs to get back there and measure - re examine that area and rule out the possibility of everything else possible.
