Hello, Was seeing If anyone has had any activity with bf in chiliwack area recently? Thanks. Hi, and welcome to the forums. It depends on what you mean by recently. Nothing reported within the last year, but that doesn't mean that there hasn't been any. Sometimes reports are made YEARS after they occur. Within the past 5 years, we have had two (2) sightings that involved multiple witnesses; and one person that found multiple clear footprints and submitted photos. Have you heard of any? Respectfully, Jason

I have been studying the chilliwack area for sometime now and have come across many many tree breaks and tree X patterns in the area. I would be interested in taking a look at ur photo of the foot print. Thanks

I have been studying the chilliwack area for sometime now and have come across many many tree breaks and tree X patterns in the area. Which means nothing. There is ZERO evidence that sasquatch (if they exist) break trees as sign. That was nothing more than a possibility thrown out there by Bob Titmus back when he was still alive.

There is ZERO evidence that sasquatch (if they exist) break trees as sign. That was nothing more than a possibility thrown out there by Bob Titmus back when he was still alive. In Illinois all the while I grew up in and around the forest - these types of tree-formations were not uncommon and new ones seem to accompany every high wind that came along. Here on Harrison Lake after high winds have come through the area - it is not uncommon to see RV awnings ripped off their units. Cool looking formations in each case, but nothing the insurance company would let be blamed on Sasquatch. (smile)

Today a long branch fully 2"+ thick fell on to the deck. It fell from way up there. It's perfectly healthy, nothing wrong as far as I can see. It just snapped and fell. BF wasn't climbing that tree. No beavers were up there. There's no snow fall, no high winds or tornadoes, no nein nyet nada. Sometimes with nature, sh*t just happens and that's the way it is. Breaks, falls, bends, anomalies . . happens.
There ARE twists found about 8' to 10' on smaller trees, it's an obvious twist at a single span that would require a lot of force to accomplish. We could suppose that was done my the mighty arm of a mythical creature, but as Jason states, there's no evidence for it. What there is evidence for is blowdown, and any sub or pre blowdown as Bill indicates. Why only one tree at a certain height? We don't know.
I've seen some pretty large and sophisticated tee-pee styled pole structures in the middle of nowhere that doesn't look like a man would be able to fashion. But then again, men build Stonehenge and hundreds of pyramids etc. Could a man stick a whole large tree upside down in the ground? He could if he had some logging equipment!
Not to be dogged, but why create a thread called "Any Activity in Chiliwack?" and then say that you "come across many many tree breaks and tree X patterns in the area" plus the "In the immediate vicinity I found multiple tree structures/ possible bigfoot sign" . . . and then claim there is no inference on your part that Sasquatch might be responsible. "when the (heck) did I say it was evidence for bf?" This is not congruent.
