The Yeti scalp was once tested and turned out to be a goat skin. I forget where I read that story.

The woman who claimed to have had the sighting that they are talking about is on a Facebook group I am in
She claims that the Sasquatch that she saw was 20 feet tall and that she measured one of it's footprints at 47 inches long with a ten foot toe to heel step
I asked here if she meant 47 centimeters, and she replied no it was 47 inches and it was a single track not two overlapping tracks

That's off the charts! Almost twice the size of any other report that I've read. Even if she actually did see a creature, she's guesstimated the dimensions way over the top.

I just don't buy the story myself
I think 20inches is the longest tracks that are generally accepted by sasquatch researchers as being real
