I've watched the Ogopogo MonsterQuest episode a couple of times now and I have to say that even though it was dramatized (for the sake of TV) and the fish carcass bit was disappointing, there were two intriguing things that caught my attention: One, the helicopter team picked up a large thermal trail of a large animal in the water and when analyzed, they found that actual signature was one degree colder than the surface water. Two, the divers discovered large holes at the bottom of the lake which were unlike the surrounding terrain, possibly indicative of an animal burrowing in the deep sediment. If authentic (and not the product of TV fraud made up for entertainment) then this may point out that there is a species in this lake that lives at deep depths, hardly coming up to the surface.
What are your thoughts?

Okay! WesternCanadian: What are your thoughts on these findings? I, myself, find them compelling.
