Photos can often make the scene look further away especially so if you are using a camera / cell phone with a fixed wide angle lens.
what Im curious about is what she *saw* that made her think it was a Sasq ?
not many humans (very few) have the same form and size of a Sasquatch
Maybe she saw did see the apeman , she should of had a better view then the camera denotes , no ?
i think we as humans are EXPERTS at spotting other humans she did not recognize it as one. I consider her to be an expert witness just by being a human.
with her god given ability to spot and recognize humans

Thomas and Saw one were there 24 hours after the woman's sighting
They stood in the same place that her boyfriend was standing when he took the picture they were able to stand exactly where the subject was standing (fork in the trail) The object in the photo was shorter than Thomas I have seen her photo and Thomas' it appears as if her photo is a person wearing a Hoodia to me it looks like a nine inch nails logo or something similar

billr thats great you were able to go to the scene and do tests.
it is what it is , if the size is to small and doesn't fit you cannot convict
O..J trial

This should be SOP for investigation and discovery. "Eye witness" means little, neither does perception or memory. Trying to reverse engineer data on a photo is a lot more work and less reliable than just driving to the location and recreating the same specs. Unfortunately it's on our dime for the gas and time.
