Hehehe, yeah I was around during Mary Green's "heyday" & all of the nonsense that came with it.
The claims just got more and more fantastic as time passed.

I think that some people are confusing intelligence with instinctive behavior.. If a wolverine buries food in the late fall up beyond the tree line and lets it sit there until spring thaw as a ready source of food, then it is called instinctual behavior! ( And wolverines have been documented to do so. ) If a sasquatch was reported to do such a thing, then it would be hailed as remarkable proof of intelligence! Around and around it goes. Unproven speculation to fill in the gaps of our own ignorance!

I agree anything discussed about Bigfoot is nothing more than opinions or theories since we have no hard evidence to go by. I do think they are an illusive animal seen no more often than a bobcat or mtn lion. I've heard the suggestion they hide their tracks which I find doubtful they have that level of intelligence. Coyotes hide their tracks as much as they can dealing with the terrain through which they are travelling. And they backtrack, to throw off persuers. A number of other animals have been documented doing the same. Bear, wolves cougar...again, instinct of the 'tried and true'!
