Just a "heads up"... I received a message via YouTube concerning this report... www.bigfootencounters.com/stories/teapot-hill-hiking-trail.htmA gentleman named Bruce Causier did a analysis of the photo, and determined it to be a man in a leather jacket with patches. I invited Bruce to share his findings here. Obviously such a thing would have been clearly visible to the photographer. We either have a new hoaxer in our midst named "Sanel Hodzic" from Chilliwack or it is one of our Lower Mainland rock-chuckers using an alias. Aloha, Jason

there's absolutely nothing in that photo. and if that brownish blob near the trail is supposed to be it, then it's nowhere near 9 ft tall. why does everyone greatly exaggerate the size of what they are "seeing"?
he doesn't mention if it was there when he came back shortly afterward. and if that was it near the trail, and it was gone later, why didn't he take pics of it's tracks?
and what about the other hiker made him feel he'd now be safe? this "9 ft" beast surely wouldn't be suddenly scared because of a second hiker.
i still don't get why everyone states that they were basically terrified. in most every report, the bf has never attacked anyone or even been aggressive. yet it sure adds to a report to mention feeling so scared and terrified.
and i love how people justify bf being so hard to find because they are so elusive and in remote areas, so they can easily avoid detection. but then here they are standing on hiking trails, or running across traffic when they are reported.

Jason, can you extract Exif data from that photo? It didn't look like iPhone4 photo to me. I googled the name "Sanel Hodzic"; I have a feeling that that's not the poster's real name at all. Sadly speaking, you may be right, Jason. It could well be the you-know-who.

It turns out that Sanel is a real person, and thankfully may not be associated with our rock-throwing acquaintances. instagr-am.appspot.com/p/334972401962425688_22385486/These kids will post anything. Including their citations with personal information readable. Aloha, Jason

Well Jason, they aren't too smart. In terms of the EXIF data, the photo has been edited and the EXIF data removed ... so that isn't the original photo. If I can get a hold of the original photo then I can certainly do a few tests to check if the image has been at all edited ... beyond the EXIF data. Additionally the image itself appears to show what could be a short person no more than 5' at most. The colouring of the image is far too bright to be native to the background - meaning it was added post-fact. So to claim it was a 9' tall beast is just total BS. Furthermore I would question the methodology of Mr. Causier who did the so-called analysis ... as it too seems to be generating information where there is none available. BTW Is that the same Bruce Causier of snakehead fish fame? www.burnabynow.com/technology/More+fish+sightings+Burnaby+city+park/6663857/story.htmlRichard

Whoever went to these lengths to launch a hoax like this is demented. Rather than the extraneous detail of where it was taken etc., the perpetrator should have done a better job with the photo itself. I can't believe that Bigfoot Lunch Club fell for this crap. There is so much garbage out there today with Dyer's stuffed dummy, Ten Million Dollar Bounty and the failed attempts to produce any DNA from any of the samples sent to Bryan Sykes. The field is in disarray right now other than here in BC where we tend to be more skeptical and critical in our thinking. I am proud to be part of this group of sensible and objective people.
