i was just wondering if there has been any action or sighting's this summer ? it seems that last couple of years have been pretty quiet in BC.
i was camping about a hour in the bush from coalmont a couple weeks ago and we did hear something HUGE running away from our lower campsight while some one walked down to it from the upper sight. could of been a moose but you never know.

Thomas Steenburg has a series of reports came from Coalmont back in 1986. These reports were listed in Thomas' 3rd book "In search of Gaints".

...it seems that last couple of years have been pretty quiet in BC. I wouldn't say it has been quiet. There have been three sighting reports that I can think of, in the past two years. I have had two reports come in to my website since May. One was a sighting back in 1963 outside of Hope, the other was the report of numerous footprints along a south BC River. I went to the scene of the footprints. The prints were extremely large and bipedal -- but were old and inconclusive. People are reluctant to make reports of crimes - let alone "bigfoot sightings" and there are far more crimes observed than there are sightings of sasquatches. And those that do report, do so sometimes DECADES after it happens (as is the case that I have from 1963) making a full and proper investigation impossible. Who knows? Maybe in 20 years we will be looking back, at this summer as "The Year of The Sasquatch", when people FINALLY come forward with stories and a femur bone. Aloha, Jason

i loved the Cow Creek Story. man that would of been a exciting story to research......ever go up the hill and look for the fish stringer? I loved Thomas's investigation too. And I think it is one of the most important reports ever investigated. Why? Because it involved multiple witnesses that did not know one another, and there were castable tracks. I do not think that people give it the credit it deserves. As far as the stringer: Good luck!
