Sure looks like a footprint with the toes. However to me it also looks like a dry patch after a light rain. Thats just my opinion. Was there any indentation in the ground?

Aloha Brad,
Yes, there was a clear depression with what appeared to be a mid-tarsal break. I have a video that I will upload to YouTube later today for you. I will provide a link as soon as I get it uploaded.
Aloha,
Jason

how is it that your print left a depression in the ground, yet a supposed sasquatch didn't? seems kind of strange. and how could you have made a cast from that? all it looks like is where the frost is melted, by a foot or whatever, but definitely not castable.
i don't understand how there would not have been numerous prints. how is it that all you found was one? there is no way that something weighing 400 to several hundred lbs. walked through that area and never left many depressions.
i'm not trying to discredit this, but to me this isn't making much sense.

I already regret posting the photo and video... I decided to delete it from here and YouTube. There is no way that I am going to be able to satisfy all the questions folks have. My best friend and I were up there camping -- we weren't there with all the tools and equipment to conduct an 'OJ Simpson'-type homicide investigation. We were excited by what we we found, we snapped a few pictures took a few quick videos and then carried on with our activities. I can understand where what I presented wasn't enough. People sitting in their comfy armchairs, want more information. People are skeptical. That's fine -- I get it. But I see where this will end up going... THERE IS NO WAY I WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SATISFY ALL THE QUESTIONS, LEGITIMATE OR OTHERWISE. Anyway, I need to sign off. I have to pack for this weekend's trip back to the Skagit. Maybe I will see you there? Probably not.

were you not expecting questions? why on earth would you regret posting it?
"oj simpson" type homicide investigation?? i don't understand. you had a camera and video. there is no "investigation" needed.
i just don't see how you were satisfied with just the one print. why would you not have looked to see where it went? why would you not try to find more tracks?
it just seems odd to me. when i find a bear or cougar track, i follow them to see where they were headed. i don't follow right to them themselves, but curiosity always wants an answer.
and i am no armchair-enthusiast. i find it strange that you instantly get your guard up. it's not that i was being so much skeptical, but more curious as to why there is only one print. judging from your footage, nothing shows a positive print. your own print sunk into the ground. how is it that that print didn't?
i spent all day yesterday in the woods north of shuswap. and tomorrow i'm going back off the coquihalla.
these are legitimate questions from another who actually walks off the beaten path.

THERE IS NO WAY I WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SATISFY ALL THE QUESTIONS, LEGITIMATE OR OTHERWISE. No, there is no way to answer every question thrown at you. But deleting the video from YouTube & the forum is definitely a way to get people to doubt your claims. Answer the honest questions & just ignore the ones that are clearly made by trolls looking to get a reaction.

I just received phenomenal news! Have you heard of Fernando Moriera? Some of you may know Fernando from the show "Monster Quest -- Sierra Sasquatch". Fernando helped Jeff Meldrum, in the episode tracking sasquatch in the high desert Sierras of California. Fernando is a world class tracker. He teaches the FBI, the US Border Patrol, the DEA, the US Marshals Service, US military special operations, local law enforcement and SAR groups how to mantrack. This is what I was able to dig up on the web... "In 1988, he was awarded the distinguished title of World's Best Tracker. His certifications, merit letters, and commendations would fill an oversized notebook and include such honors as the American Red Cross Real Hero Award (2005, 2006), Rescuer of the Year (2001), Excellence in Search and Rescue Medal (1999), and recent nominations for the Jefferson Award (2005, 2006) and the America's Most Wanted All Star Award (2006, 2007)." Last week, I had a epiphany. I contacted one of my law enforcement buddies, to put me in contact with Fernando. I sent Fernando three (3) HD videos of the footprint and HD stills. Fernando contacted me tonight after studying the videos and is convinced that what I found is a footprint, and wants to come up here to BC to see the area and look for more sign. I will post more information after talking to Thomas. I have something really cool to share, but do not want to jump the gun without talking to Fernando again. For the facts and circumstances of this find... take a look at this blog post.
