We have a few local areas which could produce some interesting results with a concerted and organized camera trap. Do you think Wally has 30 more cameras for extended loan?

At about $600 each I wouldn't expect him to be doing that for everyone that asks. I'm just happy that we have two of them here in BC and one in Alberta as it is right now. I heard about the Olympic Project at the Yakima Roundup and these guys have already spent years in that area researching it and what they've found has given them the evidence that points toward the likely hood that they will get good photos there. It's only a matter of time.

It would be very interesting to get cameras set up in the hydro cut on the low hills between the Fraser River across from Bridal Falls, and the east side of Harrison.

Well, they've definitely got the right idea. They've captured some great photos of what lives in that area. If there's any BF in that area, they would have captured it on those by now. Look how sharp and clear, even in the dead of night, those cougar, deer, and bear are. But then, typical of way too many reports, as soon as they capture a fuzzy, unidentifiable object, they want to conclude that it's a BF. The one is a deer with it's head down coming toward the camera. The fuzzy ones are of an animal, most likely that same deer, brushing up against the tree that the camera is on. I have two trail-cams that I set up to scout my hunting areas. The animals do come up close and rub against them. With enough cameras in an area, in the proper locations, nothing would avoid being photographed, especially any BF. And if there were any BF in the area, I would have to assume that they would also eventually mess around with at least one of the cameras.
