I'd like to know more about it's origins too.
It is NOT a male gait, it is exactly that of an old woman. Either it is some old female street hobo looking for mushrooms and bottles, or it is as has been suggested an old female hominoid, not ape, out foraging while either carrying a load in a sack or maybe a baby (or both). Without more input I can't really say which, but I'm really sure it is not a male in a suit!
I find this one more credible than the Patti film, which looks like a man in a suit with breasts sewn on, striding along. It is because of the way the thing moves. The Patti figure moves anomalously to how I know females walk. It's a pelvis thing.

Hey there Vilnoori, I'm kinda sitting on the fence regarding this footage - i need to veiw it a few more times i think. Of course, it does seem ununsual in its gait and even in its color - perhaps that gives more credibility, perhaps not. I did want to reply to your post regarding the "female gait" though. I am amazed by how often we attribute human characteristics to animals! There is no hourglass figure, no highheels to give that sexy gait, etc etc etc. Female "animals" don't really seem to have a different gait than males? or do they? I wonder if it depends on the muscles theyve built up for the activities of daily living most attributed to either gender? A female elephants walks the same as a male elephant, as does an ape, chimp, mouse, dog, etc. If i'm wrong here, i'd certainly be open to being corrected. I have to stand back, alot, to remember that we just can NOT attribute our own behaviors and gestures and gaits etc to other species, whether bipedal, homonid, or otherwise Chrissie

Perhaps these particular human characteristics can be ascribed to a human. Just maybe the type of human is in question. lol

Well from what I saw Seb, it hung from an overhead branch and dropped to the ground, not really jumped. As Yukonred said..too bad that there is no story behind that one. One minute it seems to be charging or acting aggressively and then.. it is just mildly walking along unconcerned. What was the story of the guy who was appearantly being pursued? And why has no report ever appeared anywhere? And where did this take place? Sequoia National Forest? Out -takes from Harry and the Hendersons? Jason Valenti wore a better suit than the one on the video in a piece he did for some outfit. The gullibility of some of these people is amazing.
