Is it fishing in the creek? Note the sighting very, very close to it. Just enter the coordinates (lower left corner) into the "fly to" window to find the site, southwest of Mt. St. Helens.

Well at least you know this one isn't fake. Just blurry.

It could be a bear. From the size of it's shadow, it is very close to the water. Are there actually people out there looking for animals on google earth? Are there any examples of other animals. A moose should be easy to spot.

I think it is sitting on the rock. Fair sized rock, you know. Is that a little one beside it, standing and looking this way?
Yes, I see animals from time to time. This area is exceptionally high definition, so it was a great place to look. I routinely look at rivers and roads, also logged off areas.

Try turning up your brightness on your screen, it might come out better. You can definitely see it on Google Earth, sure, blurry, but something quite different than the water. Several likely blobsquatches on that stretch of river, and a BFRO sighting report a few yards away from this one.

I can't make any sense out of what you are looking at?? I see lots of those black things. Please don't tell me this is where the truth lies.... I would truly be disillusioned to know that research of these awesome creatures is confined to "sightings" on "google earth", I just made it to this thread as I was reading up on all of the previous threads since I joined this "discussion forum". I am invigorated by my new found obsession and have read some really cool stuff! I have a query, if they, if there is such a thing, fly solo, so to speak, do they not have accidents?? I mean, in say just 100 years not one single one of them have fallen off off a cliff, or drown in a swift moving river, or had a tree fallen on one of them, where someone would have found a body or bones washed up somewhere? I mean no offence regarding the google earth thing I really don't know what I'm lookin at. I would like to though. Is there anyone else active on this site other than Vilnoori.

I hate to hurt your feelings vilnoori, and I'm really trying to look hard but my eyes are getting all cross-eyed and blurry trying to make out that BF and I really think there's nothing there. Just another blobsquatch.
This is not the type of evidence that will convince most people of a BF. It could be anything from a shadow to dark colored copse. Nothing really concrete

LOL Sure it's a blobsquatch! No question! But my eyes, being a tad sharper, and my imagination, being well honed as well, can see a very vague outline of a big sasquatch sitting on a stone in the river, with his back to us, maybe keeping his feet cool. And I have to say nobody faked that one, it is a satellite image taken a few years back.
I'm not trying to convince anyone by this picture, just pointing it out. If you have Google Earth you can enter to coordinates yourself and look at it there. It works better with the 3D (terrain) activated.

Here's some imagination help: Outlines: Um, I suppose it could be a very big fisherman with black clothes and a black cowboy hat, sitting on that rock...

When the red pencil comes out the conversation is pretty well moot after that!
