Hi all. On a recent look at Loren Coleman's website, he reported that a group of BF hunters/researchers in Georgia(?) recently killed a BF and apparently have the corpse in a 10 ft freezer??? One of the group's members (a police officer no less) has let it be known that they're witholding the corpse to ensure there are no legal problems or misidentification of the remains.
Mr. Coleman continued the thread to suggest that the facts of the story didn't sit right and that it smells of a hoax.
So much for the no-kill philosophy! These guys are from a lower order of primates than BF. Goons!

No, they say the "found" the body, which was already killed by a poacher they found who is a known felon. Don't know which story is true, though, and they seem pretty flexible with the truth.

Every 5 or 6 years someone comes up with a corpse in a freezer. As in those cases...If it were so, why would they go around telling anyone in the general public. It is the old "I got something..but you can't see it, until I know if I am gonna get rich!"
*Pathetic 15 minutes of fame! *

Looks like its finally revealed to be a hoax. It also proves that anything involving Biscardi should be treated as BS. The BFRO have a good breakdown of the whole scenario at their site below. www.bfro.net/hoax.asp

Well hoax or not, I'm waiting for the unveiling before I totally dismiss it.

I'm going to reserve judgment on whether or not the monkey suit is a real sasquatch.

I am just not a believer in a supposed South Eastern BF. IMO, BF is mainly a North Western animal and possibly reaching out to the Great Lakes area. Beyond that I am even more dubious about such large animals living in areas like Georgia. The only way such a large animal can go unconfirmed for so long is if there are massive open areas that have yet to be routinely inhabited by people. The NorthWestern States/Region of the US and BC is clearly the most likely home of such an animal. Just My opinion.

Good point Chris, I've never been to Georgia, and I am not sure about their terrain. Does anyone know what it is like? Do they have a lot of large unpopulated areas that could support a sasquatch population?

North Georgia is cozy'd up next to the mountains of Tennessee, you know, where all the coal mining goes on. The people that live there have a reputation for being very...er...insular, and rather disdainful of contact...and sharing genes with...outside people. The odds are not so bad that it was just a big inbred Southern mountain man they got there. Well, jokes aside, I'll wait and see, because it seems the two boys have a lot invested in this and y'know, if a dead BF were to be found it probably would be by a couple a rednecks who are not exactly polite about it all. Doesn't make it any less likely to happen. Biscardi was invited in later, apparently. So, we'll see. Not long to wait now.

There is nothing in that freezer that makes me even remotely consider that this thing is the freezer is a sasquatch.
Look at the viscera piled on the abdomen. It is too fresh to be that of a dead animal and is far too small to belong to a primate of that size. The fur looks like it was woven and has no natural hair pattern to speak of.
Having seen the derisive video that these guys put out where they put down other sasquatch investigators and dismiss Jeff Meldrum's and Loren Coleman's books on the subject, I am not at all pesuaded they actually have a sasquatch carcass.

They also say that they just happened to "find the body". Yea right!!
If the finding was in a place other than Georgia, then I might tend to believe it, but for now I'll wait and see.
Biscardi is also a known hoaxer and wants more than his 15 minutes worth of fame. After the dust settles on this one, we'll see who has the last laugh.

simply based on descriptions in previous sightings, this must have been a 'runt' as shoulder width etc don't make sense. Something of 500lbs size and the 7 plus foot height attributed to it, take up suspicious little freezer space...

I watched the entire press conference today.
In two words: What evidence?
Biscardi handed out two photos. A close up of the mouth of the corpse which just showed very starnge bucky teeth and then andother photo of what is supposed to be one of the other creatures at the site standing in a starnd of trees. Blobsquatch.
As for DNA evidence. One sample was inconclusive - what does that mean. The other two were human and possum. So where is there any conclusive DNA that they seem to have been alluding to for days?
To paraphrase Jerry Maguire: Show me the body!!!!!

Why am I not surprised? It's hard to get DNA evidence from a monkey suit. What station was it on? I wonder if it's made it onto youtube yet... ~R
