I'm sorry guys but I won't be able to attend. I was really looking forward to the meet, but I have no way of getting out there. I am still "sans vehicle" for the second week in a row. This is such a bummer. Anyways, I apologize guys, I will make it for the next one when ever another chance comes around. I was so bloody excited too, to be honest. I really wanted to meet John Green, and I've been dying to have a conversation with Thomas Steenburg for a while now. Anyways, once again, my apologies that I won't be able to come and meet all of you, but it's looking like I won't have my car back until monday. Have fun all. Steve =-(

To everybody who showed up at our barbecue yesterday, may I say big thank you to all the bravehearted crew who endured the rain and the chilling cool temperatures. I haven't had such fun in ages and everybody who was there contributed to the great conversation that kept going for eight hours! John Green was absolutely terrific and we are so happy that he continues to be such an inspiration to us all. We also remembere one of our dearest departed friends in Rene Dahinden and I am so pleased to see his memory lives in the hearts of so many people. We had 20 people come out and I can't imagine how many more would have been there had the weather been different. In future if anyone wants to come to any event we organize, but does not have wheels, let us know and we will do our best to try and help with a ride. We want everyone to be able to come and enjoy the best sasquatch grouping in BC. One day we hope to get together with the Alberta folks and that should be the meeting to end all meetings. A particular big thank you to Sebastian and Rachel for putting this whole thing together. they should get into party planning because they really know what they are doing. Well done. Anybody who took pictures, could you please send your pix to me as I would really like to include some in our Quarterly and the rest in our archives. Thanks to you all.

Chris Murphy telling John Green that he has admirable slacks. And they also go with John's hat, which is also 'snappy'!
