Nice one. Either a very well done suit job or the real thing.

Interesting indeed, any one knows where this was taking, by whom, when.
The very first move is really fast, the walking style is what one would expect of a large creature, somewhat fluid and balanced, arm movements seemed coordinated.
Are there more to the video ? It seems so short, why is that ?

Interesting, the man sounds spooked, but only becuase he seems to be convinced that he commited manslaughter. Good ol' texas, shoot first and ask questions later, lol. If his story is real, I could understand his viewpoint, who goes hunting with a pistol on his side though?

Lots of bow hunters in the US do, since it is legal there (and not here), and it can hasten a messy, slow death by bleeding or quickly dispatch a potentially dangerous but wounded and immobilized animal.

Yeah I could see that being useful, I've jsut always thought of a pistol in my mind only really used for humans. But yeah your right, you are not allowd to hunt with a pistol, and you shouldn't hunt with a pistol. Maximum effective range is lower, and penetrating force is lower. You risk wounding an animal and having it live. But for a final blow it would be more humane than letting it suffer. I've always wanted to try bow hunting...

Fake, but does prove a point.
In the Dense Forests around here something can be really close and you still couldn't get much of a video to prove anything. For a research paper I tested this out just outside my backyard which is dense forest. I measured about 15 feet or about 5 meters distance for a decent photo. 15 feet to me is extremely close.
If I were within 30 feet of a Sasquatch I would run before taking pictures. Even close eyewitness encounters are considered at distances greater than 30 feet. My opinion is that it's nearly impossible there would ever be a worthwhile picture or video in thick/dark forests.
The Patterson/Gimlin film was in an open area on a nice sunny mid-day. That fact alone makes that video very compelling. If they were to fake it, they likely wouldn't have used such a well lit and open spot IMO.

LOL I have a lefty bow and have tried but never actually got anything. It's wierd, but in the bush unarmed I can come within a few feet of deer and other animals, they look at me quietly and walk away. Some have been within arms reach. But as soon as I walk in with bow, I see next to nothing. I think they're probably smarter than me. lol! Well, maybe I've just not tried that hard or that often. If food starts getting more expensive I'll have more incentive to try harder.

haha yeah. I can sneak up on most people pretty effortlessly in the woods, and I can confidently stalk deer and other animals, but apart from almost walking into a deer (long story) I can't say I've ever gotten within touching range of a wild animal when I tried, but I can get close. I think there would be a "cool" feeling to bow-hunting. It takes more skill, almost a little closer to how all of our ancestors hunted, and I have respect for the fact that it takes a lot more skill than blowing something away with a .303 haha. Cheers, lefies rule the world, er except for hitler; He was a baaaaaad lefty.

I have to agree with Gerry on this video.
I also must say that for those who thought that this looks like a well made suit or is the real thing ... you must have better eyes than I do.
The one thing that I watched for that became visible near the end of the video sequence was the IM index factor, which showed an arm length equivalent to that of a human being more than that of an ape or any description I have ever seen attributed to the Sasquatch.
