Had a customer come into the store today. The gentleman, who's now in his mid to late 60's lives in Maple Ridge. That's all I'll say right now. We were talking about driving down south. I told him that I loved the drive thru Nevada, because since it's so mysterious between casino cities.
The gentleman interrupted me, telling me how his mom's step brother, used to work at Area 51, during Roswell. He was the famous Admiral Lindsay.
My customer stated that his uncle had passed away when he was 14. And that the Admiral would say in his later stages to family that Area 51 did exist. He also stated that when he asked his uncle if the UFO's and the aliens kept at Area 51 were real, his uncle would always say "No", while winking his right eye, with a smile. Of course, he was sworn to secrecy.
His uncle also stated to him that there was a reason there was such a technological boom in the late 40's thru early 60's in aviation and other sorts. Which my customer stated came out of what was learned at "Area 51", thanks to the alien life forms.
Whether the customer was telling the truth or not, I'll never know. He and his wife seemed like extremely honest people. He also admitted to me he's never seen a UFO or alien himself, but says that although he's not religious, he does believe in God. And that he's positive, after what his uncle told him in the past, that there are other life forms out there somewhere, that the creator couldn't have made us the only life form in the universe.
Interesting way to start the work day! Just wanted to share it, since I haven't posted on here in months!
