Other than sasquatch and other unknown hominids/hominiods, I always have an interest in Mokele Mbembe and Mapinguary.
Mokele Mbembe. These sauropod-like creatures live in the Congo Basin and nearby lakes and river systems of tropical Africa. As we know that dinosaurs were extinct, could Mokele Mbembe the last survivors of non-avian dinosaurs? Some famous cryptozoologists (Dr. Roy Mackal and others) went into the area to investigate since the 1980s. They showed the natives pictures of animals, among them a picture of a sauropod. I think that this was the major mistake of cryptozoological research. You are actually pre-determining what do you want to find. Instead, they should have the natives to "paint" the picture for them. I do not go against the possibility of surviving dinosaurs, but it has been 65 million years, many things could have ended up looking like dinosaurs.
Mapinguary Ground Sloths or unknown Primates? David Oren looked at Mapinguary as ground sloths, while others, like Loren Coleman, believed that Mapinguary are likely to be sasquatch-typed cryptids. To me, the chances of having a ground sloth walking around are greater than having a sasquatch in South America. There are fossil sloths dated back only a few thousand years ago. Ground sloths were very successful; they even spreaded into Alaska and Yukon during the last Iceage. What do you think? cheers, seb

I do not know if I have a strong inclination to any other cryptids. The Sassy evidence is coming in somewhat regularly..whicl lake and monsters and such enjoy a reporting once every other year. That is a long time to wait for further enlightenment. If I were interested in such sporadic creatures..I think like would get in the way..and then I would suddenly find that 10 years have passed since I bothered to read a sighting report. But that is just me.

Other cryptics are rare and reports often are inconcistant, also physical evidence is rare and photo imiging of lake monsters could be many things. Sasquatch sightings are common much physical evidence(footprints) .... and the patterson film which clearly shows the creature and has not been shown to be a fake. no other cryptid has this kind of photographic evidence.

Theres actually quite a bit of evidence supporting the idea of the critter in lake Champlain. Few videos but more importantly they have recordings of something using echo location in the Lake to locate prey. Not a dolphin or whale, think I have the recording and some of the evididence on file somewhere if anyones interested. But I agree, mostly likely one we'll see first is going to be sasquatch. Think Champ is potentially around the bend though.

Hi guys! Since the last post I did way back is outdated, I thought it would prudent to update you on the crypto-creatures I am currently interested in and which ones I'd like specialize in:
One's I'm Interested: -Lake cryptids for sure (again, because of growing up near a lake with lake creatures(s) sightings) -Marine cryptids like Colossal Calude, Marvin the Monster, Trunko the Gloucester Serpent, etc. -Globsters, which should be good for us investigators to 'keep our skepticals on'
One's I wish to specialize in: -Mystery carnivores like drawf polar bears, mystery felids, etc -Non-sasquatch primate/homo cryptids (ie., Devil monkeys) -Winged giants (thunderbirds) -And any marine enigmas of the Sea of Cortez, prime among them El demonio negro/The Black Demon
There you go guys! What do you think?
