During the past several years i have encountered some unexplained activity while riding my atv on the fsr that connects the chipmunk creek campsite and foley lake campsite, while travelling this fsr, I noticed that during my travels up to foley lake I encountered a clear path on the fsr road, however on my way back I noticed small rock boulders a little larger than my fist sitting in the middle of the fsr the reason this bothers me is that i spent no more than 15 minutes at the foley lake campsite and am pretty sure that there were no other campers in the area the odd thing is this has happened to me twice on seperate occasions what are the chances of there being the same campers who could be responsible for placing these boulders in the middle of the fsr and there was no mountain slope nearby where they coud have rolled down i have always wondered who or what could have placed them there.

Interesting. There have been incidents at Allison Pool, Ryder Lake area, Lindeman Lake area and I found a couple of big prints at the south end of Chilliwack Lake. So these may be the same creatures or clan of creatures in this area. I have to mention that when I walked in to the Ecological Reserve last time, on the way out there was a scat pile smack in the middle of the road. It was very sparse and runny so I just thought it was from a bear. But who knows, and the placement of it suggests I was being told this area was marked (animals mark territory this way).

Hey lummi, if you or your family see anything new, if you don't mind, I'd love to come and have a look before it's gone. I live not too far away.

Great! How much snow out there? I'm dying to get out there again, but last time I went it was fairly snowy and I don't want to get stuck.

Hey Lummi How about telling the forum about some of the strange happenings up at Chilliwack lake, its a brooding place at the best of times, and I'm sure we all would like to read about the strange occurances in that area.
