March 31st 2007 Golden Ears Provincial Park Time: 9:00 am Weather: Mixed of sun and clouds
Recalling Hiker11's sighting back in Spring 2006, the alleged sasquatch was observed about 1/4 mile away, from the bank of Gold Creek, sitting then walking along a rock ledge high in a small hill.
The purpose of our trip was to determine the exact spot where the sasquatch was sighted. After a hike of about 6 km, we reached a spot where the rock ledge was clearly visible. We were told that we were not at the exact location where Hiker11 spotted the creature, but a bit further away. Our best estimated guess was we were at least 1.5 to 2.0 km away from the rock ledge. The exact location was a further 2.5 km away. We had our binoculars and video camera with telephoto lens and the equipments were put to good use. Approximately, 10 minutes of video was recorded. The rock ledge and the geographic direction matched the description of Hiker11's interview. Further reviewing the video tape, a small rock platform where the sasquatch was sitting down was able to be identified. An additonal note was that a cave opening just below the rock ledge was noticed. At first, we thought that the cave was just the shadow of the rock ledge due to the sun angle. The opening of the cave was located on the vertical south-facing cliff. The opening of this cave was rectangular in shape, and it is about 10 feet wide by 20 feet high.
Future trip is now being planned.
cheers, sebastian

akubra, Anytime you want to go in the park let me know I go in there 3 or 4 times aweek, I was around mike lake a few days ago and I know the vibes your friend is talking about, The road has been closed for a week now do to the ice and snow, so I walk in from the gate, takes about one and half hours to get to the lake now.

Hey Hiker 11, you sure have an uncanny resemblance to someone with the same name and sighting report that was banned on the Bigfootforums.com website for using multiple accounts and BSing everyone over there. Check it out below. www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?showtopic=19256Your sighting also takes place in spring of 2006, in Golden Ears Provincial Park, high on a hill. Is that you over there also??

Hey rastaman, Your right I was on bigfoot forums and I did not have multiple accounts, There full of crap and all my post on there are from hiker11, from the same email and same computer, so why they cut me off I dont know, I tried to get a hold of them they never even let me know or got back to me, so anyway I was on West coast sasquatch way before those forums, Whats your point anyway, and I dont BS I am very serious about it, If you have a problem with it come and see me.

Im think with very little human activitey in the park right now they would move down where the temp not so cold and they can find food thats not covered by the snow.

Hi Hiker11, I just had a look at your thread on bigfoot forums and it ends when you post a second picture of something hairy in the bush. What are the details on that one? Have you overcome your fear and able to hike alone yet? I suspect maybe the reason they cut you off is because you were too succussful and they don't beleive in winning the lottery. Bear Hunter

Hmmm. good to admit because it's very hard to deny, there are a lot of posts from Hiker11 making a lot of claims. No offfense to Hiker11 but I just have a hard time that someone would be banned w/out any explanation. I think Rastaman has a good point. I just joined bigfoot forums, I might ask about this. I am not so keen on the veiled threat towards rastaman, or what seemed like one to me. Am I wrong?
