Like what? Breaking new land speed record? Or fit my bike with a speedometer, so I can clock how fast the big guy is running? I know someone was chased by a sasquatch on his bike before on Morris Valley Road.

Like what? Breaking new land speed record? Or fit my bike with a speedometer, so I can clock how fast the big guy is running? I know someone was chased by a sasquatch on his bike before on Morris Valley Road. Sebastian: When you mentioned using quiet, stealthy bikes in the line of sasquatch research the other day, you gave all of us at WCSR something to seriously consider. After a "Meeting of the Minds" over at Thomas Steenburg's home the other night we unanimously chose you for the experiment simply because out of the gang at West Coast Sasquatch Research we thought you could peddle a bike the fastest. The carrier rack on the back of your bike would be used to mount a rearward facing video camera, and also for holding the steaming-hot bacon bait. I'm sure you know that the aroma from hot bacon or pork is said to draw sasquatch (not to mention bears ) from great distances? While there have been two reports of sasquatch chasing people riding bikes on Morris Valley Road, nobody that we know of was caught or harmed. This could be a golden opportunity in the field of sasquatch research. You could be "the person" to finally capture sasquatch on film. And, with the camera facing rearward, you'd never really see what was happening directly behind you so there would be nothing to be afraid of. What say you, Sebastian? Are you ready to peddle your way to glory and fame in the world of sasquatch research? This Saturday night would be a perfect time to give your idea of using bikes for sasquatch research a whirl. I already have the bacon bait ready to go so don't worry about that end of things. Ken Edited to add: All of us at WCSR are anxiously awaiting your reply. ;D

I have a rack on my Suzuki GSXR-1000. I think that I can outrun a Sasquatch or a bear on that bike.

Hell, if I was living within your area I would volunteer to ride the bike through this area in a second.
Definately sounds like an interesting way of doing your research.
BTW, I would mind adding the report from Morris Valley Road to the WCSRO website. It sounds rather interesting.

Just talked to Thomas, he likes the idea of riding bikes along Morris Valley Road. Sean would you like a video of Morris Valley Road?

I have a funny feeling that there may be a catch to Thomas and you riding those bikes on Morris Valley Road, Sebastian. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that Sean would love to see what unfolds on "Tom & Sebastian's excellent bicycle adventure" on Morris Valley Road. Who knows, "Tom & Sebastian's excellent bicycle adventure" might be famous footage one day? Ken ;D

I like the idea of bikes with cameras but I think I won't bother with the bacon. If Sebastian carries bacon I'm sure I'll get some good video of him screaming as he passes me with every unleashed dog from the Chehalis reservation hot on his heals Thomas Steenburg

You Guys Make Me Laugh...Really!!
I'd like to 'CHEW' the fat with ole sasquatch!
Along Alberta's Highway 40...we've biked away from a grizzly at two different times - I'd do this in a minute, if I was in your area, trying to lure that thing.
I could see it now - in my bike mirror... 'OBJECTS in the mirror are bigger than they appear.'
I've got tears in my eyes writing this! How about having another bike way ahead of the 'bait bike' recording the outcome of trolling for sasquatch?
This is crazy enough to work...you know that. I've told you fellows, we came across the sasquatch quietly, and startled it. (I wouldn't want to do that again.) But with that said - a bike patrol is another angle. You guys rock!

Hi Glen:
The "catch" I alluded to in my post above was that we have it all planned so "Thomas Steenburg" will always be the lead bike position and capture any action on his rearward facing camera that Sebastian is lucky enough to encounter in the tailgunner position at the back of the pack.
I truly believe that "Tom & Sebastian's excellent bicycle adventure" might be famous footage one day in the not too distant future. ;D

Thanks for pointing that out, Ken. The biking idea has merit. A person has to create a bag of tricks - things to pick from. As you guys have mentioned - people may have been chased before while on bike.
Good luck...-if we get down, I'd like to bring my bike. A jaunt in early morning would be nice by bike.

I am setting up alarm system on Morris Valley Road.
Anything that walk across the road, an alarm will sound: "This is the Sasquatch Central Alarm Station, identify yourself immediately!!" (Gerry's voice)

This task can only end in a streak of blood and many paw prints going down Morris Road and then cantering off into a drainage ditch! "Dying is not so bad..." comes a weak voice from the ditch.".....and look. I found John Kirk's knife!"
