Just curiuos if anyone knows as to whether their is a solid theory on Sas migrations in pacific northwest that was derived from Statistical analysis of sighting frequency or factors? Is that something that can or has been done? Is it even believed that they migrate throughout seasons over large geographical areas or do they simply migrate/move with specific smaller geographical areas? Is that info that can be extrapolated from the data?
Also find it facinating that Sas who live in different geographical areas must have adapted with variances in habit and appearance? Look at the Skunk Ape photo. If authentic thats quite the long hair for a tropical enviroment like Florida. Seems almost strange.

It is rather strange when you consider the enviroment, the ''animal'' I have seen seemed to have a uniform amount of black hair, that seemed rather well kept with the exception of the top of the head that looked like ''bedhead'' for lack of a better description,it appears the bedhead was likely the ''crest'' from what I have seen in drawings and read about.I believe some of these animals may migrate while others remain in a given area, that area maybe large but I think some populations or individuals may have territories that they call there's.

Hi tuffyy, Have you posted details of your sighting on this forum? If so, where? If not, can you provide more details?

It is the Swanhills sighting in another section on this site.I may add I and another fellow are now researching the area as often as we can.No joy in seeing another (I likely never will),but have found some interesting things in the area that could be related aswell as occurences that could be related.I say ''could'' because it is easy to relate everything to Sas once you have the bug...
