If you had the time and money to go anywhere in North America on the sasquatch expedition of a lifetime, where, in general, would you choose?

I myself (living in North Idaho) choose North Idaho. I know of two possible sightings in my area. The thing is i dont know much on how to find out if he really is here. I cant afford those cameras you place out in the woods so what should i do? So far i havnt found any tracks. I have my doubts he is near but i still have suspicians. Any tips on how to better understand if he is here? thanks

Sasquatchfan-
Idaho and Montana, are two instances, where there may be activity, but because of the amounts of population in those areas, there may be little seen.
But I have located reports of such in those regions. I pursued those areas after what we may have run up against while staying at Webb Mtn Fire Lookout recently. Reports by visitors in the log books may also point to the possibility.
In your case, it may be of benifit to you, to watch a few of the databases, or the State Media. If something stirs in your region, you'll know, and you can pin-point it.
There's really no reason why the creature wouldn't call Idaho home. A little off topic...we love biking the Hiawatha Trail near Lookout Pass - that's a great area!

Sasquatchcommando-
That's a good thought! We could actually use more of that. The Sasquatch has won thus far - it just may take a group effort. But actual research - no smoke-and- mirrors. And no preservatives or additives.
In 1974 and 1985 I witnessed the creature, and it seemed very intelligent. But it is still an animal of sorts.
It seems to have the big protector...'Lady Luck!' Once we get her out of the way, we'll be somewhere. We haven't found her yet either.

I believe I would wrangle up a partner or two then get my gear, gun and grub together and head into the wilds of the upper Pitt River/Lake country somewhere between Squamish and the top end of Harrison Lake.
It might take a week, two weeks, or maybe a month, but I think a small group of keen researchers would stand a very good chance of obtaining proof of the existence of Sasquatch up in that neck of the woods.

Count me in, Bushman! I'd like to get my pants scared off in the Kimachi Mountains, too! Sounds like there may be a 'flock' of them there? lookoutman.

A friend and I were planning a trip up to the Krisicola region in Northern BC. A buddy in the medical field is a native in the area and had an encounter in the past and seems this area has had several encounters over the years. If you are up to it, I'd be interested in teaming up together for something next spring or summer. Relatively new myself to looking but have a medical background. Friend is a prison warden and has access to two sets of 3rd Generation goggles. Just a heads up, have several months to get to know me. Tried to log onto BFF but the graphics reader is pooched, not displaying any numbers for verification on the site. Currently out of the Calgary region myself.

Celticbard-
Would love to go looking for that thing these days. But I'm all scheduled out for 2006 already - other commitments to family holidays, visiting the rental fire lookouts in the U.S. - these types of things.
The only fire-and-brimstone research scheduled, is that of the Webb Mtn area in Montana - pushing our luck maybe a second time.
I appreciate the offer. There is an area I would like to check in the future though as well - the White Swan Lake area in south eastern B.C. - near Canal Flats. A logging crew watched a Sasquatch for about 20 minutes from a helicopter in 2004 I think it was. It's not that far away. Good weekend type outing. Haven't researched the Alberta side of things yet. How about yourself?
