Without giving away any of your hard-earned secrets, how do you plan to outsmart Sasquatch/Bigfoot and capture the beast on film ... or in your trap?

I'm just going to wait him out. Sqautch's are very curious.... Eventually he will come by to see why I am not looking for him!

I plan to keep returning on a regular basis to an area where at least 5 sightings have been reported to me. I hope to eventually surprise him or have him surprise me! ;D

Hope to lure one of the big guys/girls in with one of its favorite foods, some calls and a stream chilled dozen of Kokanee beer.
Hey, if it once worked for Rene in his old trailer! ;D It had to be true 'cause I saw it on tv a time or two.

I would like to have an outting with just some of the girls (no offense to the guys).. act natural (I would try to act natural that is...) ;D in a area with reported high activity.. In all truth, however, I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery than I do outsmarting the hairy one. Pretty smart "guy" IMO.

Well...I don't know..I mean they got him to be on TV stealing beer from Rene's trailer...so he can't be that hard to find. I saw that on tv too. Maybe I should phone the tv station?
I think Mountain Lady has the right idea! If a gaggle of girls can't draw out the Big Fellow..then what could?

I myself have a small idea. This weekend me and some friends are camping out in an area where some sightings have been reported. We have a good spot on top of a hill with a very clear view of much of the land. we will set some bait out in a couple places and watch all night. Not very original i know but hey, ill give it a try. Luck does favor me sometimes

Seems like Squatches might better appreciate femanine voices - espescially since girls have softer voices and are much more likely to talk together and make sounds that overlap. Male voices sound aggressive and threatening and probably more aversive to Squatch.
Still - I think the only obvious research model is that of Patterson/Gimlin: stake out a known area and use stealthy (horseback) techniques. Humans make way too much noise, at least on horseback you stand a chance to approach the quarry.
Baiting is much more likely to attrach bears & ravens than anything else.
