No, they are not a new organization.
All of the people in this Yukon group are members of the WCSRO.
Sasqutach Yukon isn't even the name he had chosen for the group of people he is working with up there. It is a name the media gave his group.

I notice he says that southern researchers aren't interested in Yukon sasquatch sightings. I don't know who he has talked to, but myself and other BCSCC people have been collecting reports from Yukon since 1990. A lot of us didn't make it to Teslin top talk to the Teslin folks who had bushman sightings last year, but there just isn't that kind of money to throw around when budgets for research are small enough as is. Glad to hear that the Yukon group are part of the WCSRO as they are in good hands.

I'm starting to feel like I'm running the GCBRO, having sub-organizations within the main organization. ;D John, if you want Yukon reports I am more than happy to forward you some of the one that we recieve. And lately we have been getting quite a few of them, 4 already this month, and it's only May 7th.

My name is Red Grossinger, a member of WCSRO and the team leader for the Yukon Sasquatch Investigation Team, a component of WCSRO formed specifically to do reasearch and investigation in the Yukon and only in the Yukon. The team was formed for easy of management and to provide a "home" team of investigators/researchers. Yukoners are a strange breed in a way and do not open up so easily to people from the "outside", that is outside of the Yukon. I hope this clarifies our reason for being. if anyone has questions, please contact me, cheers, Red
