I recently returned from a great visit with a bunch of Sasquatch enthusiasists down in Bellingham. It was a joy to see so many people of a common interest getting together and having fun. Giving a presentation was John Kirk from the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club. As well as Canadians Thomas Steenburg and Chris Murphy! I will be placing some pictures on West Coast Sasquatch's Gallery Section. To bad we do not throw those shindigs ourselves anymore..!

Nothin' stopping us from throwing a big Sasquatch shindig of our own up here in the wilds of British Columbia. It'll take a little time to get everything organized and all the ducks in a row, but it is nothing that we can't handle if we put our minds to it.

Then let's get down with what it is all about! I had my reservations made with the convention people months ahead of time. But, as the date came closer I had to seriously thing about accomadations and the cost..it was a see-saw thing, until I came to the conclusion..well.heck..I will just drive down for the day! John, Jason and Star put on a great spread.. I arrived at 7:30 in the am. Meet Thomas Steenburg in the parkingl lot. Thomas is a renowned researcher and author on the subject..and a dear friend or myself and Bushman. We went into Fox Hall..(a part of the Hampton Inn, in Bellingham) and checked out the presentation area. The Stage:

The following pic is an overhead photo of a 'topography presentation' by Chris Murphy, of Burnaby, BC..which clearly shows the layout of Bluff Creek (Measurements to scale) on that fateful day back in 1967.You can see the placement of the Sasquatch..and the area around her..much better then you ever could on the Patterson and Gimlin footage.

From looking at the P/G film you cannot possible imagine the amount of real estate which that short film tried to encompass..here is another example as the alleged Squatch moved along the creek bed that day!

Some noteables in the Bigfoot/Sasquatch world..Crypto writer Lorne Coleman talking to none other then Bob Gimlin, who was present on the day that Patty was filmed crossing Bluff Creek in 1967..

Here's a better one of Thomas in my driveway..I had just told him that...if Sasquatching did not pan out..then there was no percentage in becoming a vampire hunter! Just hang in there!

What's on Bob's chin GC? Did he cut himself shaving or something? By the way, did he talk about the Bob Hieronymus thing at all?

I don't know..I think he may have cut himself..it was bothering him as he kept fidgitting with it!LOL I did not talk to him about Bob H. Although there were others who did. And he was forthright with all of them. He did not run from any question..at least the is the opinion of all who had a conversation with him. Ours went something like..
"Hi Bob! I'm Gerry. Grandcherokee at the Bigfootforums."
big smile on his face..hand outstretched..
"Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you!
"Bob. Did you two coyboys realize the trouble you were going to disturb that day you rode into the creek?"
Laughs.."No, I dont think we did!"
Me: "I bet in light of what has been happening over the past year or so I imagine there are plenty of mornings that you wake up and wish you never heard of that creek?"
Bob: "More then a few alright! More then a few!" Laughing.." It can be a little frustrating..and I am getting older now. But you know. It is you fellows who are coming up who are going to make the difference in this. It is so good to see you all taking part. I am sure I'll be gone before there are any answers. If there are any..you guys will get it! That's why it is so great meeting you all."
A moment later the next presenter was talking and after that point it was hard to carry on a conversation. But I like the way the guy looks you right in the eye while he talks! when Bob says Patty was in the creek that day....I for one believe him!
