Wow! The more I read Christopher L. Murphy's "MEET the SASQUATCH" the more I have come to appreciated the thousands of hours of dedicated research that must have gone into making this book a reality. In my honest opinion there is a wealth of information in MEET the SASQUATCH.
If you haven't already read them, here's a few more excellent books that I have read on the subject of Sasquatch/Bigfoot and highly recommend:
Encounters with Bigfoot by John Green The Best of Sasquatch Bigfoot by John Green Sasquatch the apes among us by John Green Raincoast Sasquatch by J. Robert Alley The BIGFOOT Film Controversy by Roger Patterson and Christopher Murphy In Search of GIANTS - Bigfoot Sasquatch Encounters by Thomas Steenburg SASQUATCH BIGFOOT - The Continuing Mystery by Thomas Steenburg Bigfoot Sasquatch EVIDENCE by the late Dr. Grover S. Krantz Grizzlies & White Guys - The stories of Clayton Mack by Harvey Thommasen. Note: This book is about hunting grizzly and black bears but there is also some very interesting information on Sasquatch in one chapter
Of course there are many more books that have been written on the subject of Bigfoot/Sasquatch that I have not had the pleasure of reading yet.
If you have read a good Bigfoot/Sasquatch book lately, please tell us about it.

I enjoyed John Bindernagel's book several years ago. I made the mistake of loaning it to an acquintance and never saw it again.
I have two books written by a local here (Eastern Idaho). Hewanders around the contintal divide looking for bigfoot. He has a hand cast that he claims he made in a cave on the Idaho/Montana border. It is a very interesting cast. Anyway, he collects people's stories and has put them in book form. Some are quite interesting, some are WTF???

Very good list Bushman. Raincoast has become one of my favorites. In Search of, IMO is one of the best out there also. Kudos Mr. Steenburg!! I just got finished reading "Weird Georgia," which is a collection of strange tales from my home state. It has a very good collection of Sasquatch encounters, supplied by the old Georgia Swamp Ape Research Association. That was the group my research buddy Sasquatchery co-founded. Really interesting local book.

A book that I found very interesting and also very informative is Unexplained! by Jerome Clark. It is an encylcopedia type book of lots of unknown or unexplained creatures and phenomena. It has a very good section on BF and other ape-like creatures! Also, you should check out Out of the Dark by Brad Steiger. It has some really interesting encounters of BF by people.

I got Jerome Clark's "Unexplained!" for Christmas (along with a half dozen other books) but have not had a chance to start it yet. Thanks for the review.

Lessien I read the bigfoot/sasquatch section in Jerome Clark's Unexplained this afternoon and found a serious error or two in his information on sasquatch. I don't believe Mr. Clark did his homework or checked the facts before putting pen to paper. In my opinion, any of the books listed above contain far more detailed and accurate information on the subject of sasquatch. Bushman
