My brother who spent a great deal of time fishing in the Poett Nook-Bamfield area of Vancouver Island told me a story about possible Sasquatch sighting and vocalizations.
About 20 years a go my brother and his fishing buddy were in the Poett Nook area and stopped at a locked logging gate. Beside the gate was a cabin and the fellow who lived there was the keeper of the gate. He was a old man who was a ex-logger and the forest company (Mac&Blo) gave him this job because he had worked for the company for so long.
My brother and his friend had coffee with this old guy, affectionately known as "Pea Soup" and he told them stories of his early days in the bush etc.. Then, he said to them, there is something big living in these woods, I have seen it out of the corner of my eye and have heard it many, many times howling in the woods. He said he has lived and worked in the woods almost all his life and he dosen't know what it is, never heard a animal like that before, but he knew, what it wasn't, it wasn't a bear.
Beleive his story or not, it is up to you. My brother and his friend beleived him. Unfortunately, Pea Soup has passed on but if he heard strange howling other loggers in that area have heard it too or have seen something they can't explain.
Any reports from that area?
